ON-LOCATION RECORDING
On-location recording means recording at a location that best suits the various exigencies of your project on three levels:- ARTISTIC
- for example, recording a singer-songwriter at an agritourism farm
- TONAL
- for example, recording a string quartet in a church with unique acoustics
- ORGANIZATIONAL
- for example, recording a local band in a farmhouse near your town
Remember, your own home or a theater can also become an actual recording studio.
All our recording equipment is assembled in a flight case and arranged to achieve the best possible recording conditions. Our on-location recording equipment is set up by connecting the entire outboard and audio monitors to a portable patchbay to guarantee the same practicality and speed of use as a permanent and fully functioning recording studio. The preamplifier racks are composed of diverse models in order to take advantage of a range of tonal characteristics during the recording session.
The recording system is modular in order to best use the equipment to fulfill specific project requirements and
to manage your budget most efficiently.
By using our portable equipment on location, expenses for room and board are virtually eliminated and working hours
are optimized, such that time and money can be directed towards creating a superior recording, both creatively and technically.
Groovefarm focuses on the artist and musicians, who can play together in the same room, using individual headphone mixes.
Each and every room in a location can be turned into makeshift recording rooms.

HOW DOES LOCATION RECORDING WORK?
