LIVE RECORDING

Groovefarm's live recording system is based on Pro Tools HD and on top-level preamplifiers, such as Amek, API, Chandler, and Millennia, which are assembled and connected in flight cases to facilitate quick setup, an essential feature when working on stage at live shows. With this system, clients have access to Groovefarm's full array of microphones in integrating them in the setup for the show and its recording, giving great importance to the recording surroundings and to the public.
Groovefarm's equipment is compatible with a vast range of analogue and digital connection standards (for example, Aes Ebu, Digidesign, and Madi), of up to 96 channels, thus allowing it to successfully handle even the most demanding clients' needs.
The overall modularity of Groovefarm's equipment permits clients to choose the system best suited to their requirements, from recording individual events to an entire tour, ultimately realizing at a concert's end a high-quality product, one ready to be mixed in stereo or in 5.1.

ANALOGUE RECORDING

Today, analogue recording remains the best method for recording a live event. Using the best analogue preamplifiers guarantees the highest and most consistent recording quality. Moreover, the portable studio is entirely independent of local show equipment.

DIGITAL RECORDING

Digital recording allows the recording of numerous tracks, eliminating the need to use a network of wires and a supplemental outboard. The Digidesign protocol allows for the reliable and easy simultaneous recording of up to 96 tracks. Moreover, it offers the possibility of a virtual sound check without the presence of the musicians. The system is organized so efficiently that it can be set up to accompany a tour without the need for a dedicated operator, optimizing production time and costs.
